Partnering with families who value the importance of Christian education is a huge honor. Our preschool is a year-round program that offers all day care for children ages 2 to 6 years. Our daily activities and program consists of a flexible schedule that has been created to provide diversity and challenge for children in all age groups. We offer a structured program for children of all ages that includes a year round curriculum. Our activities include school readiness skills, arts and crafts, STEM labs, games, music, outdoor play and story time.

Where to begin?
Applications can be submitted online or manually. Applications for the 2019-20 school year are available. The priority deadline is April 1st. Applications received after this date will be accepted by space availability only.

What happens next?
After you submit your completed application online, you can expect the following:
Within three days: A letter or email will be sent out confirming receipt of the application and space availability
Within one week: Initial review is completed. Contact from the Admissions Office or site secretary to schedule testing and interview if necessary.
Within 1 week of testing/interview: Enrollment Contract will be emailed to you.
You will then have 14 days to review Enrollment Contract, sign and return contract along with the registration fee of $150. Once you pay the registration fee, your child will be officially enrolled at Mt. Erie Christian Academy!
You will receive instructions from the Business Office regarding tuition payment in June or within 10 business days after being accepted, based on the month in which acceptance occurs.
If you have applied for a tuition grant, you must receive your acceptance by completing your enrollment online and pay the registration fee to guarantee the grant.
Should your enrollment occur after the school year has begun, the Principal will establish a start date for your student(s).

Preschool Registration: $250 (payable to two FALL/SPRING installments
Elementary Registration: $150
This annual registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Theres is a $50 reduction of fee for all returning families. There is also a book fee required for all grade levels.

Preschool payment is due on Monday for the week of care being provided. We accept money order or cashier’s check. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed for any payments received after the close of business on Tuesday. If payment is not received by the Wednesday, care will be declined. Other forms of payments can be accepted at the Elementary Building.
Payment is due the 1st day of the month. We accept cash, check, money order, or credit card (requires 2.99% service fee). A $50.00 late fee will be assessed for any payments received after the 10th of the month. If payment is not received by the 15th, your student will be dropped and an additional $100 will be charged upon re-enrollment.
What does enrollment in MECA programs entail?
Holiday And Closing Days
We are closed New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President;s Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If holidays fall on a weekend day the weekday closest to that day will be observed as the holiday. These days will be decided in January of each year and will be posted for your convenience. All holidays will be charged at the regular rate.
The New Student Referral Incentive Program awards a referring MECA family with a $150 tuition credit for each new student that is referred to and actually enrolls in and attends Mt. Erie Christian Academy. (Refer a family that enrolls two students and receive a $300 tuition credit, refer a family that enrolls three students and receive a $450 tuition credit, etc.)
MECA is committed to helping any qualifying family by providing tuition assistance to help them make Christian education a reality for their family. When does registration begin for the 2019-20 School Year?
Registration begins on April 1, 2018
Is registration first come, first serve? Yes, and we encourage you to register early!
Is there a priority order in which students can register? Yes. Registration opens first to families and siblings of currently enrolled students (March 1, 2019), then to students on our wait list (March 15, 2018), followed by the community (April 1, 2019).
What will I need to register my child? A completed registration form along with the registration fee. Note: Registration fees are non-refundable.
What can I expect after registration? By the end of May, you will receive a packet of policies & procedures as well as required forms that will need to be completed and on file before your child begins classes in August.
When is my first tuition payment due? The first tuition installment is due by August 15th of the upcoming academic year.
